By passing a signal to a subwoofer through this advanced negative feedback circuit, a signal is dampened and increased, while the speaker moves and creates a note. Once the speaker is moving, it won’t stop moving due to its mass and suspension. It creates a type of distortion that is not present in the original signal because of the extra movement (sound). Like an electronic brake, the negative feedback circuit senses this unwanted movement and sends out an opposite pulse to stop the speaker.
